FEATURES
NEW
X-Y matrix:
The X-Y matrix is a stereo matrix where all the inputs and outputs
are represented visually allowing users to assign a name to each
one, and with a simple click you can re-route all the different
signals. The inputs and the outputs can all be freely assigned,
and an input signal can be sent to several outputs and the same
time.
Matrix
View:
In certain cases, to have more clarity, it is recommended to store
to memory certain areas of the matrix.
These areas are called ‘Views’ and appear in the menu
tree on the left of the screen, represented with an eye icon.
Saving
the patches – Sets:
The DAIS software allows you to save to memory an individual configuration
of routings (a set).
This allows the rapid and easy recall of different routing configurations.
Synchronisation
and status:
The system synchronisation is monitored constantly by the software.
If there is any inadvertent change, the software will show a warning
message on-screen.
Configurations
- Settings:
All the basic set-up parameters can be configured in the ‘settings’
menu:
-COM port assignment COM
-Synchronisation input
-Interface card assignment
Although the manual details exactly how to configure the
system from scratch, when receiving a DAIS system a basic set-up
will have already been configured for you
.
Auto-Set:
To allow easy configuration there
is an ‘Autoset’ button on the ‘settings’
menu. On pressing this button the DAIS will automatically configure
itself, detecting the interface cards that are inserted into slots
1-14 and assigning to each slot a specific name according to the
format and manufacturer.
Undo:
The undo function of the DAIS software allows up to 99 steps backwards.
D.A.I.S. Net
(NEW)
With DAIS NET software it is now possible
to use the system over a TCP/IP network. This allows the control
of one or more DAIS units by different users within a network. Each
of the users can define and save their own personal configuration
settings.

The software constantly examines the system
and avoids any double assignment between hardware inputs and outputs.
The personal work areas for each user are password protected.
The usernames and their passwords are all assigned and managed
by a system administrator.
